About Dannie

Dr. Danielle Antoinette Henry, affectionately known as "Dannie" among friends, has an established career in the management consulting industry, specializing in social impact digital marketing, branding, web development, and operations for both for-profit and nonprofit organizations. Among her notable achievements is her work with Catalyst, where she led the BiasCorrect Social Media Campaign for International Women’s Day 2022, promoting the concept of being a “CEO” – Chief EMPATHY Officer.

Through her consultancy firm, Great Dane 921, LLC, Dannie develops solutions rooted in empathetic understanding, emphasizing compassion and transparency in the workplace. She has conducted professional development training for organizations such as Opportunity Network, Sun River Health, WestHab (NY), Youth Shelter Program of Westchester (NY), and The Rooted Collaborative. Her training focuses on leadership development, cultural intelligence, effective communication, team building, and conflict resolution. In 2023, she delivered the Keynote Address for the Association of Donor Relations Professionals (ADRP) Annual International Conference, advocating for a workplace culture of care.

Dannie earned her Psy.D. in Organizational and Leadership Psychology, with a concentration in the Neuroscience of Leadership, from William James College. Her doctoral research explored the neurological impact of cultural intelligence on leadership personality and task performance. Her research has propelled her to be selected as a CQ (Cultural Intelligence) Fellow for 2025. She also holds an MPA in Public and Non-Profit Management and Policy, specializing in General Finance from NYU's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, and a BA in American Politics from NYU's College of Arts and Science. Additionally, she is certified in project leadership from Cornell University’s School of Engineering and holds a Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance.

A dedicated public servant, Dannie is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and a Past President of its Westchester Alumnae Chapter. She also served as President and is now a sustainer member of the Junior League of Orange County, NY.

Born and raised in New York, Dannie enjoys exploring cultural experiences in her free time, including monthly visits to museums, gardens, and immersive exhibits with her Fur, Floral, Culture, and Cocktails crew. She is also a certified Reiki practitioner, using her skills to promote holistic well-being.
